British Canoeing, British Caving Association, British Cycling, and Mountain Training have worked together to produce similar format matrices of their leadership qualifications.
The matrices set their qualifications into a wider framework of ‘competence in context’ and will help employers / deployers of instructional staff to benchmark the various awards against the skills and competencies they need instructors to have to be able to operate in their environments.
