We inspect and consult on policies, procedures, competence arrangements, equipment management, and accident investigation, helping to ensure that adventure provision is both inspiring and responsibly managed.
Alongside this, we hold statutory appointments: as inspectorate for the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive, and as subject matter experts to the Defence Land Safety Regulator (DLSR) who are part of the Ministry of Defence.
