Steve Pease


Steve has enjoyed a varied career spanning the last 20 years. He has worked at a variety of outdoor education centres, before becoming a college lecturer. After finishing as head of department, Steve moved on to become the head of an outdoor education centre, and Duke of Edinburgh operating authority manager, giving guidance, skills training and overseeing the approval of all school expeditions.

Steve has worked extensively across the UK, in summer and winter, delivering walking, climbing and paddle sport sessions in varied settings and contexts. He has also led several climbing and walking expeditions overseas.

Steve continues to work in the UK year-round, and is a current Mountain Training provider for walking and climbing qualifications.

He is active personally, and enjoys climbing, walking, canoeing, and cycling, preferably as part of a multi-day journey in the middle of nowhere.
